Muslims are the Predecessor of India

By

Abdul Hannan Siwani Nadvi

The Muslim’s relation to India is as deep as an infant’s relation to his mother and both relations cannot be thrashed by any power of the world.

It is unfortunate of India that a nation which has spent its whole life in serving to India and sacrificed its government over India’s freedom and fought against British government till last drop of blood, is being called a “minority community” in today’s Independent India.

The Muslims, who represent a largest minority community in India, are very backward in education and in economics with the thanks of Indian government.

Interestingly, Muslims, who sowed India with their blood and during their role on India “there was complete social peace and harmony all over the country. This is aptly proved by the fact that history fails to produce even a single instance of communal disturbance which took place during the period of Muslim rule”, as Mr. Murtahin Billah Jasir Fazlie says, have named terrorist, their areas called epicenter of terrorism, their religious placed destroyed and bombed and they themselves faced violence, insecurity and pogrom.

The billion dollar question, can India be success in keeping its identity without Muslims and Islam? Muslims cannot be perfidious against their country. They can sacrifice their lives, they can see burning their homes with patience, but they cannot sell out their country to its enemy.

The Muslims are pouring their blood even today to the country. Are Mumbai riots, Gujarat pogrom, Malyana and Hashimpura carnage and fake encounters in Gujarat and in Delhi not an example of it?

It is a historical fact which cannot be rejected that India cannot survive without Muslims and vice versa. The secret of India’s development is hidden in Muslims. The development of Muslims in all fields is the development of India.

Is it not a shame for the country, that Prime Minister of India has nothing to give except assurance to the people of the nation which disinterestedly served for the country?

India is incomplete with Muslims. They are part and parcel of India that cannot be happy without it.

Indian’s history reveals Muslim’s relation with Hindus is as healthier as it was hundred years ago. These are the communal politics and there are the communal minded leaders who for silly aims sow the seeds of hatred between two communities as British government did during their occupation on India to divide and role.

The present picture of India is a debt of the Muslims who sacrificed their lives but never agreed to see divided India as it not only divided into two parts by some greedy politicians but also used all means to break it into peaces more and they are now trying to install a long religious gulf between two communities the generations to be needed to break it.

Muslims neither looted nor sold out an inch of land of India to any other. No doubt over Muslim’s conquered on India but it was not to stool India’s wealth and its money. It can be understood only for one incident happened to the people of Sindh when Mr. Mohammed Bin Qasim was leaving them. Mr. Mohammad Ataurrab writes:-

“When Muhammad bin Qasim was leaving the territories of Sind, tens of thousands of Muslims, Buddhists, and Bahamians came to bid farewell him with tears, and then wept blood upon hearing his death for his youngish, and in recognition of his heroic actions, and established a wonderful statue in the city of Alkerj in his memory, as a symbol of his jihad and as a slogan for his yeoman's service for the sake of Islam and humanity”.( Encyclopedia of Islamic history and Islamic civilization of the Sind and Punjab regions ( Today,s Pakistan)

…… “Non-Muslims also wept upon him, because he treated with them well, provided them safety and security and gave them freedom of worship” ( 44 Mohammad bin Qaism, the conquest, Ibid ,page no:34.)

Muslims and Hindus long relations in India show political leader’s role in dividing two communities on religious lines.

Muslims are not beggars who have been given reservation in beg. Muslims are not conquerors who have been sent to jail languishing there.

Muslims are not in need of any commission’s recommendations to get their rights in every field of life of this country.

It is a big treason to Muslims and to this country if Muslims to be deprived and their homes to be set on fire by some communal minded people while enforcers of country’s law only watch on them.

Government and Media have to bring changes in their attitude towards Muslims. Give them proper rights, provide them security and bring justice to them, because they are predecessors of their.

Only democratic means can solve the issue of Kashmir

By

Abdul Hannan Siwani Nadvi

From past few months, Jammu & Kashmir is on boil. Youths, elders, olds and women all are on roads. Demonstrations and protest is continue. Curfew, direct firing on mobs and killing young boys cannot stop them to come out to face the brutality of security forces.

The number of days is 5 and the numbers of killing are 27. All are killed in police firing. The toll arises every hour. Curfew is continue. Protests and anti-Indian slogans are on. Every killing increases more their anger against India. Jammu & Kashmir is in flame which is not set by terrorists; it is set by dummy government and by security forces.

Politicians, journalists and those writers, who got various awards for speaking truth, are silent on this situation.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has chaired various meetings and discussed on these developments. But the situation is worsening day by day.

Central and state government thinks that they will take the situation in their control by force. There is no question of firing or using forces because those who are demonstrating are unarmed people.

The police and government is treating with the people of Jammu and Kashmir as Israel does against Palestinians in Palestine.

Despite slapping curfews and blocking all ways of exits and entries, there is no sign of returning the situation towards normalcy. The publics are coming out on roads to register their demonstrations against the deaths of innocent youths are being killed in police firing.

Forces, police and CRPF are being placed there to security of the state and for protection of the citizens. If these security forces turn killer instead providing them protections, the finger arises towards them.

How is it democracy that people are not allowed to demonstrate and express their angers? How much youths and young boys have been sacrificed for this brutality?

We called ourselves an advocator of democracy. Our head goes up proudly when we say that we live in world's largest democratic country. How is it democracy which robs the freedom of the citizens who live within us?

How long police will fire the bullets directly on the mobs? How long, we will use excessive forces against unarmed civilians?

If we cannot bring their problems to an end, we never have the rights to murder them. It is said that people of Kashmir wants separation from India, by such killings we are giving the strength to their demands.

It is said proudly that talks and none-violence end all conflicts. Are we spreading none-violence movement in Kashmir? Which kinds of message we would like to send them? Are our political leaders and forces believe that firing on mobs and killing of young boys can bring any kind of success for us?

We claim proudly that we are the protectors of democracy and human rights. So how we can close our eyes and ears from the situation the people of Kashmir have been facing for past few months.

By such brutalities, we are near to lost a state. The people of Kashmir used their democratic rights to live peacefully with us, mishandling the situation and use of force giving them a chance to instigate the separation movement against India.

State and central government have to solve the conflict by democratic means. I hope that central and state governments would consider on this serious issue. Curfew, firing on protestors and using excessive force against civilians cannot be the part of solution.
