Finally, AIMPLB has decided to challenge Allahabad High Court's verdict in Apex Court. This decision has been taken unanimously in the meeting held by AIMPLB in Lucknow on 16-10-2010.
Actually, Muslim community, by and large, majority of concerned citizens and historians were in favour to approach Supreme Court to hear that this High Judicial body what says in its judgment.
A section of Muslim community and some Muslim leaders were not in favour of challenging this verdict in Apex Court, as well as, they were asking through Media channels to accept the verdict of Allahabad High Court on Babri Masjid issue.
Indeed, this kind of language and surrendering themselves before fascist forces is not a right step and such kind of behavior does not solve the conflict.
When the constitution gives us a chance and provides us a substitute to appeal the verdict if we are unsatisfied with High Court's judgment so it is not the wisdom to take not the advantages from this opportunity and to be wasted this precious recourse has given by the law, especially, when the future of other hundreds and thousands of Mosques and religious places and the future of Muslims are depend on this issue.
Whether Supreme Court restores justice or not, Muslims, in both situations, are unable to get the land back, but the fight to restore Babri Masjid from the place where it was before 6th December 1992 should be continue unless the justice prevails.
I do think that this matter should go to long unless new generation appear and decide that what is better for Indians in that situation as Hindutva goons and its followers are not able to go free, revise same issue and try to target another Mosque.
The second thing is that Babri Masjid or any other Masque is waqf to Allah. Any piece of such land could not be surrender to anyone, whether they are Muslims, for other purpose.
If any Masjid or land of Masjid falls in other hands, then it is the responsibility of all Muslims to use all legal ways to take it back.
If one generation fails to get it back, then this is the responsibility of coming generation to do its best to get the land back.
So there is no question of surrendering any Mosque, whether it is Babri Masjid, to the group which is very notorious in bringing bad name to India.
Supreme Court judgment, whether it goes against Muslims too, the fight within the law and through negotiation channels, if opposition accepts it, should be continue to free this place from its occupiers.
Muslims feel that current verdict on Babri Masjid issue is far away from transparency and there is something in the verdict which will set an example for Hindtuva goons to justify their other devil interests.
The concerns of prominent columnist, writers and historians on Allahabad High Court's verdict cannot be ignored very easily.
This question is very important that Babri Mosque, where Muslims had been praying for more than 500 years, and Hindus never claimed about it, this place took back from Muslims due to a claim of a particular group, whose hands are colored with the blood of Muslims, and which thinks that it is indeed the birthplace of Ram.
This fight is for justice. This fight is for lawfulness. Every Indian citizen has right to live and build religious places in India. Indian constitution guarantees to every citizen for the protection of his rights as well as his religious places.
Muslims are not demanding another thing. Muslims are just demanding the restoration of justice in Babri Masjid issue. Muslims had not approached Allahabad High Court to prove that where Ram had been born. Their intention was only the restoration of justice and returning the land of its real owner.
Unfortunately, in Babri Masjid issue, Muslims cannot get the justice.
In all these situations, AIMPLB's approaching Supreme Court is a very positive and right step which is taken in time. It should be welcomed and to be supported by everyone to help it with all ways in getting justice.
